Schaumburg’s earliest residents were primarily German speaking immigrants settled in by mid-nineteenth century.

The Village of Schaumburg was incorporated on March 7, 1956.

Currently, Schaumburg population is estimated to be around 75,000.

Schaumburg is roughly 28 miles (45 km) northwest of the Chicago Loop.
