Bristol Renaissance Faire is an outdoor Renaissance gathering set during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I of England or Henry VIII. The Renaissance Faire represents an imaginary 15th-16th century village in England and includes various Shakespearean shows, dancers, musicians, magicians, jugglers, singers, crafts, games and lots of food. Professional and amateur actors are a major attraction. They play historical figures and roam the fair, interacting with visitors who are encouraged to wear costumes.
